Squalls are the precursors to a storm, or rather separate clouds that form in a series, and as the cloud base gradually descends, strong winds blow at a height of 1,000 to 1,500 feet from the ground, causing precipitation.
(24-5-2026) Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
