BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and  a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and  elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON  OF THE 12th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagiang Region and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin  States, scattered in Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay ,Magway , Taninthayi Regions and  Rakhine , Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago,Yangon and Ayeyarwady regions.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 12thMay, 2021:      Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers.Degree of certainty is (60%).
