BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 4th January, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in  Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Eastern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of scattered rain or thundershowers in Kachin and Shan States, isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States.
