BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing,,Magway and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 -6)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
