BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 26th June 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in (Northern and Eastern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
