Land Depression Condition

          According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Land Depression has crossed near West of Yedashe in Myanmar moved North-Northwestwards and continue to move between Yenangyaung and Kyaukpadaung in Myanmar. It is centered at about 10 miles South-Northeast of Yenangyaung, 20 miles South-Southwest of Kyaukpadaung and 25 miles South-Southeast of Chauk, Myanmar.

It present state of Land Depression is coded as brown stage, it could cross between Yenangyaung and Kyaukpadaung in Myanmar.

The Land Depression is located at Latitude 20.6 degree North and Longitude 95.0 degree East, centre pressure of Depression is 1004 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 30 miles per hour at 10:30 hrs MST today.

          It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and may cross Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin State during next 12 hours and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area in this evening.

          Due to the Land Depression, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin. Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls during today afternoon to 1-10-2026. Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
