Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Northwest Bay, Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the 06:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Minkin is observed as about 1 foot 8 inches below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 1 day.

According to the 06:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Monwya is observed as about 1 foot 4 inches below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 1 day.

It is especially alert to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Minkin and Monywa Townships, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
