7-9-2026:Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Northwest Bay, Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood Warning

(Issued at 08:00 hrs M.S.T on 1-9-2026)

According to the 06:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Bago River at Bago is observed as about 1 foot 1 inch below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 12 hours.

It is especially alert to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Bago Township, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
