According to the observations at 06:30 hrs MST today, due to the strong to vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and the Depression crossed North Odisha Coast close to Balasore, India rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in NayPyiTaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls during today’s morning to 14-7-2026. 

            Frequent squalls with rough to very rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 11-14 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

People should be awared due to the strong to vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and the Depression crossed North Odisha Coast close to Balasore, India such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight.
