26-7-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoing West Bengal Coasts –still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Two Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into Depressions. Monsoon will be strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Days

Rain will be expected above normal in NPT, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwaddy, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States and about normal in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah, Shan States.

Rainy days will be expected about (17 to 25) days in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States and about (9 t0 16) days in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Shan States.
