27-10-2026 According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm ”(ARNAB) over the westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West- Northwestwards and still persists. It is centered at about 560 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 110 Nautical miles South- Southeast of Visakhapatnam and 120 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada, India. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.8 (M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (5) miles west-southwest of Oktwin), latitude 18.80 °N, longitude 96.34 °E, depth (11) kilometers, about (11) miles southwest of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (18) hr (06) min (15) sec M.S.T on 26th October, 2026.
