26-7-2026: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining (North Odisha-West Bengal) Coast (India) is centered at about 265 Nautical miles West- Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 95 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Paradip and 55 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island, India.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha-West Bengal Coasts (India) has intensified into a WellMarked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression during next 12 hours and may cross the North Odisha-West Bengal Coasts (India) on 27-7-2026.
