It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 4.0(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (15) miles east of Singu), latitude 22.50°N, longitude 96.22°E, depth (14) kilometers, about (35) miles north-northeast of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (08) hr (12) min (13)sec M.S.T on 17th July, 2026.
