It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.3(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (4) miles south-southeast of Thabeikkyin), latitude 22.83°N, longitude 95.99°E, depth (6) kilometers, about (56) miles north of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (07) hr (56) min (07) sec M.S.T on 17th July, 2026.
