It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.5(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles southeast of Pale), latitude 21.88°N, longitude 94.97°E, depth (60) kilometers, about (47) miles north of Nyaung-U seismological observatory was recorded at (12) hr (43) min (59)sec M.S.T on 16th July, 2026.
