It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.8(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (28) miles southwest of Kyauktaga), latitude 18.01°N, longitude 96.21°E, depth (12) kilometers, about (50) miles north-northwest of Bago seismological observatory was recorded at (14)hr (37)min (36)sec M.S.T on 12th July, 2026.
