It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.5(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (10) miles west-northwest of Kani), latitude 22.46°N, longitude 94.69°E, depth (75) kilometers, about (73) miles southwest of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (09) hr (29) min (43)sec M.S.T on 9th July, 2026.
