26-7-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoing West Bengal Coasts –still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha-West Bengal Coast (India) has moved West-Northwestwards and still persists. It is likely intensify into a Depression during next 6 hours and continue to move West-Northwestwards and may reach North Chhattisgarh from North Odisha(India) during next 48 hours.
