It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.5(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (3) miles south-southeast of Htantabin), latitude 16.98°N, longitude 96.01°E, depth (15) kilometers, about (12) miles northwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (06) hr (51) min (08)sec M.S.T on 4th July, 2026.
