COMPOUND :

PART ONE : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. It is likely to intensify into a Depression around (9.5.2023) then continue to move Northwards and intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andaman Sea around (10.5.2023).

PART TWO : Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Scattered rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY : (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : West or Southwest (5 - 10) kts at times (20)kts.

SEAS : Moderate.
