PART ONE    : According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the  deep depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal   is centered at about within half degree of latitude (18.0)N and long(86.5)E.It is forecast to move  West -NorthWest wards and it may further intensify into a Cyclonic storm during next  12 hrs.It will cross near Gopapur (India ) around mid night of today.

PART TWO   : Monsoon is weak  to moderate  over the  Andaman sea and strong over the Bay of Bengal .

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER    :     Scattered  rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY   :       (4) nautical miles but  (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND :  South or Southeast (10- 15)kts at times (  25)kts.

SEAS                 :  Moderate.

WAVE HEIGHT    :  (4-7) feet.     

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 16.5°N – 20.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER    :      Fairlywidespread  rain or thundershowers .

VISIBILITY   :        (4) nautical miles but less than (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND :  South or Southeast (15- 20)kts at times ( 35)kts.

SEAS                 :  Rough.

WAVE HEIGHT    :  (9-12) feet.
