BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to intensify into a Depression during next 12 hrs and move West- Northwestwards and intensify into a Deep Depression on 25-10-2026 and may reached over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and intensify into a Cyclonic Storm on 26-10-2026. It is likely to continue to reach Westcentral Bay of Bengal -Andhra Pradesh coasts on 28-10-2026.   Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Tanintayi Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and  Rakhine, Southern Shan State . Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts..   

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of Scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States.
