BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th October 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and  Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.  

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Northern and Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
