BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States, scattered in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State, and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
