BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 16th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon States, scattered in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Rakhine States, and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
