BAY INFERENCE: Weather is  partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th October 2026:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, fairly widespread in  Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady  Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States, scattered in Yangon Region and Eastern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated rain in Naypyitaw, Magway, Taninthayi Regions  . Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Region and  Kayin, Chin, Mon,Rakhine, Southern  Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershower in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
