BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area which crossed Matupi, Myanmar continue crossing Chin State, Myanmar and adjoining Southeast Bangladesh and Mizoram, India. It is continue to move North-Northwestwards to Mizoram, India and adjoining Southeast Bangladesh and weaken gradually into a Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
