PART ONE : According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal (Near the offshore area of the Deltaic, Myanmar) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify gradually into a Depression over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours and into a Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours. Continuing to move West-Northwestwards and it is likely to reach Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal near South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh, India during next 72 hours.

PART TWO : Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LNG. 92°E

WEATHER : Widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood isolated heavyfalls.

VISIBILITY : 3 nautical miles but less than 1/2 nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : West or Southwest 15-20 kts at times 30 kts.

SEAS : Rough.

WAVE HEIGHT : 9-12 ft.
