BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 13th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway, Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah, Rakhine, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin , Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Regions . The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
