BAY INFERENCEMonsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud  over the North Andaman sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19thJuly 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scatterd in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah, Chin States, fairly widespread in  Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady , Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Madalay, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.  

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYSLikelihood of increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States.
