BAY INFERENCEMonsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19thJuly 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scatterd in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Regions and Kayin, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYSLikelihood of increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States.
