BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12thJuly 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in  Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin,  Mon, Rakhine,(Nothern and Eastern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
