26-7-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoing West Bengal Coasts –still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

Rainfall Forecast for 2^nd Dekad July, 2026

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States and about normal in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State.

Rainy Days Forecast for 2^nd Dekad July, 2026

Rainy days are expected about 8 to 10 days in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States and about 5 to 7 days in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions.
