BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.Degree of certainty is 80%. Partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.
