COMPOUND :

PART ONE : According to the observations at (10:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and has intensified into well marked low pressure area and reached over South Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression and may reach to North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India during next 2 days.

PART TWO : Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY : 4 nautical miles but 1 nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : East or Southeast 5-10 kts at times 20 kts.

SEAS : Slight to moderate.

WAVE HEIGHT : 4-7 ft.
