PART ONE            : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North  Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) still persists over the Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move gradually Northwards and may further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours and thereafter, into a Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal- North Odisha Coasts, India and Bangladesh Coast on 9-9-2024.

PART TWO             : Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

WEATHER                      : Widespread rain or thundershowers.
