PART ONE               : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards and intensified into a Cyclonic Storm during next (12)hrs. It is centered at about within half degree of 18.0°N and 89.7°E.

PART TWO        :  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER                                : Widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls.

VISIBILITY                                : 3 nautical miles but less than 1 nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND                      : South or Southwest 20 – 25 kts at times 35-40 kts.
