It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (43) miles east-southeast of Mawlaik), latitude 23.45°N, longitude 95.07°E, depth (75) kilometers, about (34) miles northwest of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (07)hr (03)min (07)sec M.S.T on 6th February, 2026.
