15-9-2026 Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the Northern Myanmar areas.Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Southwest Bay of Bengalhas moved West- Northwestwards and it is centered at about (700) Nautical miles West – Southwest of Coco Island and (780)Nautical miles West – Southwest of Hainggyikyun(Myanmar), (100) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and (105)Nautical miles East of Puducherry(India).

According to the observations at (21:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about (235) Nautical miles East - Southeast of Chennai and (225)Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry(India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.
