6-9-2026: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the 16:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Bago River at Bago has reached its danger level. It may rise about 1 foot during the next 1 day and may remain above its danger level.

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Bago Township, to take precaution measure.
