25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to the western disturbances and convergence of warm air from Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and cold air from China High, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Shan States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions andKayah States from (17.2.2021) to (21.2.2021).
