According to the 15:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Homalin is observed as about 1½ feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 36 hours. 

According to the 15:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Phaung Pyin is observed as about 2 feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 2 days.     

It is especially alert to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Homalin and Phaung Pyin Townships, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
