PART ONE          : According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean  moved north­northwestwards . It is centered at about within half degree of Latitude (6.1) degree North and Longitude (83.4) degree East. The depression is contuinous to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Deep Depression. It is likely to reach coast of Sri Lanka towards north Tamil Nadu Coast during next 48 hours.
