COMPOUND :
PART ONE : According to the observations at (10:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards and intensified into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “FANI”. It is centered at about within half degree of Lat (11.7)°N and Lon (86.1)°E. It is forecast to move North-Northwestwards.
PART TWO : Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E
WEATHER : Widespread rain or thundershowers.
VISIBILITY : (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.
