BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 7thJune 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah,Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyiaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States
