SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Southern Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States and about April average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk and (43°C) each in Kalewa, Kyemone, Myinmu, Myingyan and Gangaw. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.52) inch in Kawthaung, (0.19) inch in Nyaung Shwe, (0.16) inch in Kyeikkhame, (0.12) inch in Mudon and (0.08) inch in Loikaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
