SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Magway, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Tada U (Avia) and Chauk and (41°C) each in Mandalay, Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun and Hpasaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th March, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
