SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan (North and East), Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperature was (40°C) in Chauk and (38°C) each in Monywa, Sagaing, Myinmu, Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw, Pauk, Sinbyugyun, Pyay, Gyobingauk and Myawaddy.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd March, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan(North and East), Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
