SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Chin and Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway and Yangon Regions, Shan (North and East) and Kayah States and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Rakhine States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) each in Pinlaung, Heho, Mongyang and Hakha, (8°C) each in Namsam and Pyinoolwin, (9°C) each in, Kyaukmae, Loilin and Mindat. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (1.06)inches in Myeik, (0.28)inch in Dawei, (0.15)inch each in Kawthaung and Launglon and (0.04)inch in Ye.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists and it may further intensify into a depression during next (24) hours. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago and Yangon Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
