SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan(South and East) and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and widespread in Naypyitaw with regionally heavy falls in Magway Region and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.54) inches in Pyinmana, (2.83) inches in Mudon, (2.68) inches in Thayat, (2.05) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (2.01) inches in Aunglan, (1.50) inches in Zalun, (1.42) inches each in Pyinmana (Walgyi), Naypyitaw (Zabuthiri), Ngape and Maubin and (1.38) inches in Minbu.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURE: According to the observation at (13:30)hrs MST today, The Typhoon "Molave" over South China sea has crossed to middle Vietnam Coast, it is forecast to move continuously West-Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and Fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
